This highly intense permanent acrylic paint by Golden Fluid has a consistency similar to heavy cream. It's also comprised of a pourable, low viscosity formula. Ideal for spraying, brushing, or staining, it can also be mixed with other paints and media for additional applications. Fluids blend easily with all acrylic colours, and readily tint gels, mediums, gessoes and grounds. Fluid Acrylics are extremely versatile, and ideal for fine brushwork, glazing, staining, water media techniques, and much more.

Additional water or medium can be added to make it more transparent. Zinc White is highly transparent to allow under layers to show through. The translucency gives a dreamy effect.

But then I found out only 2-3 drops are needed. The colors are subtle but vibrant. One uses so little and it lasts so long that it ends up being a good value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rare find, discontinued paint. Jackpot! This color pigment , Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold is now discontinued by Golden because the pigment is no longer made. This is THE color for grounding and doing base layers and loved by artists. I got to know and had been on the hunt and Michaels had it in store! As for the paint, Golden makes the best, I have used the Open ones, the heavy body and the normal acrylic versions and love them all. So glad Michaels now carries these in store.
