Step 1 |
Prepare your work area with a plastic drop cloth and wear gloves. |
Step 2 |
Put the resin mould on a 30° angle using any type of hard surface. |
Step 3 |
Mix equal parts resin part A and B in a mixing cup. Stir for several minutes or until resin is clear without any streaks. |
Step 4 |
Add drops of Gold opaque colourant to the resin and mix until fully opaque. |
Step 5 |
Pour resin into one half of the coaster mould. Fill until about half of the mould is covered and Gold goes around the entire rim. |
Step 6 |
Apply a heat gun to the surface of the resin for a few seconds to get rid of any bubbles. Let cure overnight. |
Step 7 |
Place mould with cured resin on level surface. Repeat Steps 3-4 with white opaque colourant. |
Step 8 |
Fill rest of the mould with the white resin. Treat with a heat gun to remove any bubbles and let cure overnight. |
Step 9 |
Demould the finished coaster. |
