Poor quality
Bought this along with some other flower frames at a similar price point. This one is very flimsy and the gold is very yellow/cheap looking. It has plastic instead of glass panes. It isn’t even worth the 50% sale price IMO. I would look at other floaters from Michael’s. The other ones I got were much, much better!

Gold color frame looks cheap
I bought this frame in the beige (light wood color) and the gold. The gold frame looks very cheaply colored. The price is very cheap and can often be found on sale.

Not what I expected
This frame is very cheaply made and feels like it's from a dollar store.

For the price, its a great Frame
I suppose you might call me a watercolor artist. And with that said, this is the perfect frame for my watercolors. I buy dozens of these each year. I purchase these in ALL the colors that Belmont has. In reading the reviews I have not once experienced the disappointing results that some say they have experienced. Lucky? Perhaps. However with the amount of frames, and the array of colors with no defects? I would wonder if those with the disappointing reviews were just a fluke. Perfect frames! If you want better quality, you are going to have to open your wallet and pay a bigger price. I personally love these frames.

HORRIBLE
I bought these frames to use as signs for a wedding. The plastic used is so chintzy it literally scratches if you touch it, not to mention trying to take it out of the even chintzier brackets then place back in. I wrote on them with paint pens and the soft pens even left behind visible scratches. Might work as a cheapy frame but I wouldn't bother!

Fragile plastic prone to cracking.
The floating effect comes from a sandwich of two plastic sheets held in by bendable tabs. The plastic sheet cannot clear the bent tab, and cracks when you push it out, ruining the floating effect by showing a crack.
The plastic needs to be less brittle, or the plastic needs to be a little smaller, or the tabs thinner. The lack of clearance at the bent tabs leads to breakage.
