Step 4 |
Now, click ‘Continue’ in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose the correct material. |
Step 5 |
Place the vinyl onto your cutting mat. Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, then press the blinking Cricut® icon to start cutting. |
Step 6 |
Use scissors to cut your design from the vinyl roll. Next, use your weeder tool to remove all the excess material around and inside your design. You’ll be left with just the design on the clear plastic carrier sheet. |
Step 7 |
Cut a piece of transfer tape to fit over your vinyl cut-out. Adhere it over the vinyl, then lay it in place on the front of the shadow box. Burnish the design in place and peel off the transfer tape. |
Step 8 |
Open the back of the shadow box and adhere a piece of blue cardstock to the padded side. Using the white pen, make dots all over the top half to create snow. Set aside. |
Step 9 |
Cut a piece of cardboard in a triangle to make the mountain. Size it according to how you want it to fit in your shadow box. Now, wrap the cardboard mountain with the snow roll and hot glue it in place on the back. |
Step 10 |
Position the mountain in place and hot glue it to the backing. |
Step 11 |
Position the gnome and the small trees on your mountain and hot glue in place. |
Step 12 |

Step 13 |
Re-place the back onto the shadow box and secure with the tabs on the back. |
