glow in the dark glue solar system
Step 1 |
First, click here to download and print the template. Set aside. |
Step 2 |
Paint a canvas board black and let dry. |
Step 3 |
Turn printed template over and using the side of your pencil, scribble all over the back. |
Step 4 |
Next, turn it back over to the front side and lay it on top of your black canvas. Trace all of the shapes on the printed template, pressing firmly, so the graphite from the back transfers your design to the canvas. |
Step 5 |
Draw around the planet shapes with glow glue, directly from the bottle. Set aside to let dry completely. |
Step 6 |
Now, you can fill in the planets with silky crayons, and draw the curved lines. |
Step 7 |
Set your canvas under a bright or sun light to "charge" the glow paint, then turn off the lights or go into a dark space and see your solar system glow! Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
