Print Project

Step 1

On a piece of watercolour paper, lay down some household tape to create geometric areas.

Step 2

Paint in the areas you created with tape using watercolours.

Step 3

While the paint is still wet, sprinkle table salt over the painting.
TIP: Watch as the salt pushes away the pigment of the paint away from the salt crystal, creating a lighter area around the salt crystal and a darker area beyond it. When the painting dries, the salt will have created a unique texture on your painting.

Step 4

Brush the salt off once it's dry and discard.
