Perfect for sketching over acrylic paint!
Does exactly what I bought for- sketching over acrylic paint. It erases clean and I like using the white over dark backgrounds when painting. I also like that it doesnt show through the paint when i paint over it.

Good chalk pencils but...
These pencils are nice and soft for marking all kinds of surfaces, but unfortunately the softness means the leds break easily when trying to sharpen them.

Love these.

Why you should buy chalk pencils

Pastel Chalk Pencils
They write well but their point is very thin and they kind of scrape the chalkboard almost so you can see a faint outline of what you write. The eraser does work though and it’s nice that the pack comes with 2 pencils!

Better with texture
Nice to write with - more control than typical chalk, easier to erase and less potential for mess than chalk markers.
However, it’s much better on textured chalkboard surfaces than smooth. With smooth surface it is less opaque and will squeak some while writing.
