Opaque on white paper but more faded on dark
These pens have a beautiful opaque finish to them on white paper but come out a bit faded on darker paper. What I don’t like is that none of the moonlight pens have names so it’s a pain if you have similar shades trying to distinguish between them. Sakura really should name them.

Love the pens, but must be stored upright
I love the Gelly Roll pens. But if they are not stored in the upright position they fail to work. Not sure if it is the store personnel that place them on their side or if it is during shipping and transport that they are left on their side. So when you get the pens home the ink wont come out. Check the pens prior to purchase to make your life easier.

Super rich color, really pops as it dries. Haven’t had any issues with smudging. It’s just really fun to write and draw with, so luscious. Worth the purchase.. if I had this as a child I would have lost my mind!

Love at first sight!

Love the color!
I love the color of this pen and it writes so smooth. I suspect that this has been on the shelf for a while because it was a little sticky and occasionally has strings of ink that come out. It’s such a pretty color though that I’ll deal with the occasional weird ink string.

Love the color, love the smooth glide and complete coverage love the gold highlighted pink. However, the ink did not dry, not "soak in" to the velum paper and smeared. Probably my fault, but disappointing it didn't dry and was on a one and done project. Otherwise, really nice.
