Summer is the perfect time to enjoy Fruit and Cake Kabobs! Grab some fruits, Sweet Tooth Fairy® cake mix and Meltables™ and start skewering these simple treats perfect for any celebration!

Print Project

Step 1

Wash and dry your fruit thoroughly to prepare for skewering.
TIP: Cut your fruit into smaller slices if needed. If you have chosen a smaller fruit like blueberries or raspberries, there is no need to slice them smaller.

Step 2

Prepare your cake mix by following the instructions included on the packaging. Once cooled, cut your cake into small 1" - 2" [2.5 cm - 5 cm] pieces.

Step 3

Add fruit and cake to bamboo skewers. Create fun and delicious patterns of alternating flavours until your skewers are full!

Step 4

Melt your Meltables™ by following the instructions on the back of the bag. Place Meltables™ in a microwave-safe bowl, then melt until you've reached a creamy, smooth consistency.

Step 5

Pour Meltables™ into a piping bag and secure with a twist the top of the piping bag.
TIP: Find a tall glass to put your piping bag into, tip down, and open the top of the bag over the top of the glass, This will make pouring much easier.

Step 6

Lay your skewers out in a row on a piece of parchment paper. Snip the end of your piping bag to make a hole to allow for a small amount of chocolate to flow. Now decorate your kababs!
TIP: Apply even pressure so your skewers should turn out beautiful and delicious.
