Frank A. Edmunds Company™ Split Rail Scroll Frame is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan So this looks fairly simple to use, and it is very easy to assemble, but that is about it. This is the worst frame I've ever used. I purchased it and so badly wanted it to work. It doesn't hold the cloth evenly or well, and it's nearly impossible move along a pattern on a straight line because of how crookedly this assembles. Honestly, I've been noticing that a lot of the products have been going downhill. This being one regretful purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made I had a surprising amount of problems with this frame than I expected. Luckily I had all the components but sadly the frame wasn’t very useful when put into work. The dowels are loose on one end and extremely tight on the other. The screws that came with it stop tightening after a certain point which makes it impossible for the dowels to be clamped down properly. The holes where the dowels are inserted through aren’t sanded properly so I couldn’t insert the dowel unless I flipped it to the other side. The frame looks exactly like the picture but if you try to use it the frame barely works and couldn’t hold fabric tight enough to sew on. If I didn’t know a carpenter to help me salvage this I would’ve returned it. Good thing I got it with a coupon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality This is made with the quality of scrap wood - it splinters and needs to be sanded. The screws and wingnuts don't tighten properly, so the aida is left baggy, especially along the sides. I'm going to look for a better quality product elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needlepoint frame Very disappointed. Won’t set up flat, frame is twisted, small, not near as nice as last frame I had. Dowels not rounded, no side to fasten fabric. Nice curbside service but couldn’t find order, time consuming.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wood frame The wood used in the spreaders and the clamps is too soft. After about the third use you can no longer stretch your work taut

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Regrets I thought this would be amazing, but itbis nothing but a hassle. I can not get the bolts tight enough, and my fabric is way to loose to stitch. Seems the pieces do not measure up right. I bought this a while ago and do not have the receipt and thats a shame because it was pretty expensive for what it is. Its a good idea, I wish it worked for me. Maybe you will have better luck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! Had one screw and wing nut that would not tighten so therefore useless. Waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk This frame is junk. The first one was missing a home to put the screw in and the second one I got was also defective. Take your money and throw it out if you are thinking of buying this.
