Use & Care
Each bottle covers approximately 20 sq. ft. Stir paint well. Apply base color to clean dry surface. Allow 2 hours drying time between coats. Sand to distress. to achieve a layered look, apply second color over base color; once dry lightly sand top layer to expose underlying color. Clean up while wet with soap and water.

Great bright shade, paint a little thick
I bought this bright shade to coordinate with some beautiful decoupagenapkins. The paint covers very well for a shade in the red family (needed three coats for full coverage) over bare raw wood. The paint is also thick so I used a water mister when I applied it for an even smooth coat.

Difficult to Blend
I am an artisitic furniture painter, and I need paint that allows me to blend. I love chalk paint for coverage, and this paint does do that. But I also need to be able to blend one chalk paint color into an adjacent color, and that is not easy to do with this brand of chalk paint. So if blendable chalk paint is your goal, this product is not the best choice, but if you just need coverage, then this is suitable for that -- sometimes 2 coats are required depending on the color you are covering up.

Not recommended for glass projects! This paint is probably great on wood or other media - just doesn’t adhere well to glass. I put two coats to cover and the second coat took off the first one. I’ve had better luck with Rustoleum chalk paint on glass, but I thought it was worth trying because of the price.

I love this chalk paint. It glides on smoothly and is very thick. Easy to water down if it is too thick. Only negative is you need to pour paint into another wide mouth container for easier access for paint brush.

Adequate coverage
Home Decor chalk paint requires at least 2 coats to give full coverage. It is not a clay-based chalk paint, so blending colors are more difficult as the paint dries.if you just want solid coverage and don't need to blend, this this paint should be suitable.
