- Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and dirt
- Shake well
- Spray 8" (20.32cm) to 12” (30.48cm) from surface, using an even, sweeping motion
- Apply multiple, even coats until ALL cracks and holes have been filled
- Allow 24 to 48 hours to dry before applying another coat. Let it dry completely. (It usually takes up to 24 to 48 hours to fully cure)

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product first to seal on a water leakage. it was great and the leakage stopeed. It has to dry a bit to start working. Next time I sprayed it on my plants pot to cover the crack. the plant container was black so this worked like charm. I did not have to color the container with the color. The product is great and works like a charm. I still have to use it on Metal surface to see how it works. but overall the produst is great. I still havent used their other products but now after using this I am very intersted in those,

Works Well

Amazing product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always skeptical of “as seen on TV” products, but this one breaks the mold for me. You can spray it on pretty much anything and you can coat it with paint. With used it to seal roof penetrations, plumbing penetrations, cracks and walls, etc. It seems to do all those things well.

Works Better Than I Expected!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I decided to try Flex Seal I didn't have great expectations. I made a bird bath that was leaking from a fitting on the bottom. My first attempt I cleaned the area & applied the Flex Seal around the failing fitting. After letting the Flex Seal cure for 24 hours, I added water to the bird bath. The fitting was still leaking but significantly less. I dried out the area and applied a second coat. After letting it dry for another 24 hours it no longer leaks! It did take 2 coats but it really worked as advertised.

Worked great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I a minor leak along the top seal of my bay window. It was to costly to replace so I used this flex seal to help stop the leak. It works great! It was easy to spray and only took two layers to completely seal the leak. It’s been about a month since applying and it has held up just fine. No more leaky window seal.

It worked!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So here in southern California we have been getting some rain and we noticed our rain gutter over the sliding glass door had cracked. It wasn't a huge inconvenience but it did mean that our balcony was collecting a lot more water than usual. We gave this a try and ended up spraying both the inside and outside to give it a nice good seal and it worked. So far there hasn't been any more leaking and it saved us the cost of replacing the whole gutter. It save us money on a project that we hate to spend money on because we usually don't get heavy or a lot of rainfall, so this was a great immediate fix. It was easy to spray and dried in less than 2 hours. The spray gave us an even coat as we held the can only about 3-4 inches from the surface. Great for quick fixes around the house without all the crazy costs.

Did a great job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something to fill is cracks on the roof of my rv so I thought I'd give flex seal a try.i followed the directions and sprayed the first coat and let it dry for 24 hours and did another to make sure I got all the cracks covered
So far not a drop of water has come thru! Great Product! Easy to apply and works!

Love It!!

Excellent and quick temporary fix

It is a reliable, fast acting product that provides the user time to come up with a more permanent solution. Flex Seal was fantastic for stopping a leak on our metal roof until I was able to fix the leaks permanently. Thanks to Flex Seal, I had time to do the project right and not have to rush to get it done. I highly recommend Flex Seal to anyone needing a temporary quick fix to these types of problems.

Great product, but can make a mess in humid areas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to get the hang of using Flex Seal in the spray can. The directions on the can are really good and do a good job explaining how to apply it, even for someone like me who does not do well with DIY type stuff.
I first used it to repair a leaky gutter. I ran into problems with this project because the gutter is always wet. I knew the product needed to be dry for 24-48 hours for it to be effective, but this seemed impossible due to an all metal roof and high humidity. I rigged up a high powered fan to point at the leaky spot and this seemed to work. It has not rained yet so I am not sure how well it sealed the leak.
It did work wonderfully for repairing some cracks in some flashing on my roof. The cracks were not causing leaks in doors, but the area covering my porch was leaking and now it appears fixed. I used to see sun through those cracks and now I cannot. It took several layers to get them sealed.

Great for small jobs

Easy to use, good for sealing home leaks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Flex Seal is easy to use around the home. It is useful for sealing leaks or cracks and seems to work well to stop leaks and prevent future leaks. It comes in an easy to dispense can. Be warned it does have a dangerous chemical warning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it on the interior of my gutters at all the joints. it worked great! but when i used it on the exterior of a shed where i had water running directly into the base and it would leak into the shed. i applied it to the bottom of the shed hoping the flex seal would divert the water. but it did not work the water seeped through the bottom.

Good for the right applications
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say I was a bit hesitant about the claims of this stuff. This stuff is pretty good though. Make sure you fully understand what this stuff is, how it is supposed to be used (safety especially), and have a realistic expectation of what it can "fix". I was able to use this to seal a cracked pot with a plant in it. It worked fine for that but I would not expect it to work on anything that is under "pressure". I've not tried their seal tape but would like to.

I got the flex seal black and as the gutter was dripping away I sprayed the area generously with the flex seal, even wet it sealed it right up, jo more leak! I truly am a fan of this product!

It works, but follow safety instructions carefully
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to seal up a window in my basement that was both leaky and drafty. You need full body protection to work with this chemical- mask, eye protection, gloves, probably can’t hurt to use a disposable gown or jumpsuit. After you’re properly protected, you must also make sure that the area is well ventilated. Since I planned to seal the window frame, I had to open other windows. I didn’t realize it would be so strong smelling, or last so long. I had to leave my windows open for 2 days in cold/wet weather. I should’ve done more research. After it cured, the window stopped leaking and I no longer feel a draft. It was easy to paint to match the rest of the window pane. It does work, but you have to take precautions to use it safely.

Easy to use. It sprays out like a spray paint. It has no nasty smell either.
I had a crack in my bath tub, I sprayed this on it, waited a couple days and I've had no more leaks.

Amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is amazing!! I had a leak around my dryer vent that runs outside. There was a big gap around the edge and every time it rained it would get all wet behind my dryer. Well I used this all around the edge from the outside and then I used it around the inside. I let it sit for a couple of days and it dried completely and there are no more leaks. I really love this product and I would highly recommend it.

the pefect seal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used original flex seal for years so i was excited to see it in a different color and have something in my arsenal other than plain white. The black was perfect for sealing up some of my patio bricks and some leaks in my roof and it matched my shingles pretty perfectly. I have also used it not to necessarily seal but to fill in cracks on my wifes bird feeder that broke when a squirrel knocked it over. I am glad to have this on the occasion i need something other than white.

Handy Spray Sealant

Note that it won't bridge large gaps and takes a while to dry if it's thick, so it's best to apply several thinner coats.When you're done spraying, be sure to follow the instructions to clean out the nozzle, to prevent clogging. Turn the can upside down and spray until clear.

Perfect Seal

Just Spray
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite part about Flex Seal is how you just spray it and let it do it's job. I used it to patch up a hole on the inside of our gutter. It was a great way to fix a hole quickly, and effectively without too much effort.
