Soft with visible texture!
I use this yarn for one of my favorite baby hat patterns. It is soft, has a bit of a shine and the flecks give the project a nice visible texture. I have read reviews that don't like this yarn because it "separates" when crocheting/knitting, but I don't find that to be a big problem. I think the upside of the separating of the threads allows the yarn to add dimension to the project. You just may have to be a little more conscientious while pulling the yarn through your hook.
