Does the job.
I had a smaller Fiskars paper trimmer and needed something a bit wider. Love that this has a 6” x 12.5” cutting area and an arm that will swing out to let you measure up to 15”. Added perks are being able to lock down the blade rail and the guide wire. I use it for paper crafts and it has worked well cutting card stock, various types of paper and vinyl.

This is a great brand. The markings are easy to read and it is bigger than my previous one. Really nice. It doesn’t come with an extra blade, but they are easy to find and not too expensive.

Excellent trimmer
I have many different trimmers from standard blade to guillotine style. I’ve not experienced the best results with any of them. This trimmer is the bomb! It slides easily without shifting to provide a perfectly straight cut ever time and can cut several pages at the same time, plus many other thicker items I’d not dare try with any other trimmer. This is the workhorse that makes all other trimmers obsolete.

Fiskar Paper Cutter
I owned this particular paper cutter for years and years. The wire that is used to see where you are cutting shredded.I use this a lot so I decided that I would purchase a new one. I am not happy with the shredding of the paper when the blade cuts coming back toward me. It leaves ragged edges on the paper that is being cut. Since it is brand new and never been used, I'm not sure if the blade needs to be replaced....even though I have only had it on October 4, 2023. I think I will return it and hopefully Michael's will replace it.

Best all-around paper trimmer
This is a great paper trimmer - lightweight, large base (so your paper doesn't bend or hang off at a weird angle), and a guide wire so you can see where it's going to cut. I also like that you can lock the blade/arm for transport, and the swing arm is great for measuring large pieces.

I like it.
This is a nice piece to have in your crafting tool belt. I don't like that the blade seems a little recessed as it doesn't cut as cleanly as an older one that I had previously. I have to go back and forth to cut the paper clean.

Blades dull quickly
Blades get dull real quick. Not recommended for trimming card stock of 110lbs. If you are doing light projects and cutting thinner papers it should work fine. It's light and plastic but doesn't move on table due to the non-slip 4 corners. Would be good for school projects or the casual crafter but not for daily use, get a commercial cutter if doing daily crafting.

Great paper trimmer
Fiskars is the best brand to buy! The quality is excellent. I particularly like the extender arm for trimming larger paper. I also like the wire in the blade area. It helps ensure even cuts especially when cutting diagonally.
