Amazing
This was my first time using this product. I normally purchase finished leather or use saddle soap to clean up old leather, but I was given some reclaimed leather from an old desk top that was being restored. I didn't have much hope for it, as it was covered with eighty years of grime, glue spills, candle wax and what looked like a coat of varnish, but I decided it was worth a try, so I picked up a bottle of this at Michael's and proceeded to soaking and scrubbing and rinsing the leather. Once it was clean, it was also as stiff as a board, and the finished side had visible cracks everywhere.
I applied several coats of the leather lotion and worked it into the leather over a three day period. It has softened it so well and hidden all but the tiniest cracks so that I'm now able to use it as if it was new. I highly recommend this product. It truly is amazing.
