Good for quilt binding
I use Elmer's School Glue to help me position quilt bindings before sewing them. If accurate place is required, the glue helps make sure the measurement is correct. It also helps keep the mitered corners stable until sewing. I put a drop or narrow, short lines of glue, and then press with a steam iron. The glue washes out when the quilt is washed. Note: too much glue in one spot may challenge your sewing machine--or your fingers.

Great for kids crafts
I grew up using Elmer's Glue. And now that we have kids, Elmers is a staple for all crafts the kids do. It dries quickly, doesn't stain the table (no matter how long it's been left to dry on it lol) and the kids find it easy to dispense. Ill continue to keep a bottle or two in the house at all times.
