easter bunny wood plaque
Step 1 |
In Cricut® Design Space™, find a bunny image that you would like to use for your plaque. |
Step 2 |
Cut out the bunny image from stencil vinyl. Weed the bunny from the vinyl, then cover with the transfer tape. |
Step 3 |
Lay the stenciled bunny onto the center of your wood plaque, burnish and remove the transfer tape. Burnish the stencil onto the wood plaque using your fingers or a gift card to make sure all of the edges are securely fastened to the wood surface. |
Step 4 |
Use the chip brush to paint your plaque, including the stencil bunny. Set aside to dry. |
Step 5 |
Make a pom-pom for your bunny's tail with white yarn. Use the smaller pom-pom maker in the set and follow the package directions. Trim/shape the pom-pom and set aside. |
Step 6 |
Cut a variety of paper flowers to glue around your bunny's neck. Once you have cut and created enough flowers, glue them onto the plaque along your bunny's neck. |
Step 7 |
Glue the pom-pom onto the back of the bunny for a tail. |
Step 8 |
To make a banner, click on the 'Shapes' menu in Design Space™ and choose the diamond. Cut out about ten diamond shapes from scrapbook paper for your banner. Fold the diamond shapes in half to make the pennants for your banner. |
Step 9 |
Cut a piece of twine to drape across the top of your plaque, then glue the folded shapes over the twine. Loop your banner over your plaque as desired and attach the twine ends to the back. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
