I do stamping on non-scrapbooking type things -- like furniture -- and I need ink that stays rich in color and produces crisp images. Of course, I do top coat them after giving them time to dry thoroughly, but the fact that they stay vibrant and crisp is what is important for me for this sort of application. I think the "dye" in the name makes all the difference for what I do.

The ink pad is amazing!the color of the ink is vibrant as well. It covers fine detailed stamps as well as covering more deeply for bold stamps. It dries quickly and works well with watercolors. You’ll get clear, clean and crisp images. The double-hinge lid means no inky fingers. Super juicy – this ink pad may last long than I even expect! Absolutely a MUST have!
