Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Polyester Thread I use this for machine embroidery and it works fine (one of the tan colors). Just beware beacause not all the colors hold up as well. Some fray and break easier (looking at you, "Laurel" (purple)).

I use it for machine embroidery and it holds up, but not all C&C polyester colors do. Some colors break easier. I was able to find colors at my local Michaels that I couldn't find elsewhere, but there isn't much selection. Wish this color were available in cotton thread.
