Step 1 |
First, trace the bottom of a heart-shaped metal frame pendant onto a paper doily. Cut out the shape a little smaller than the traced shape. Make sure the heart fits inside the metal frame; then remove the paper heart and set aside. |
Step 2 |
Pour just enough UV resin to cover the bottom of the metal frame. Set your UV lamp over the mold and heat for about a minute. |
Step 3 |
Now, place your paper heart inside your metal frame, add more resin and heat for another minute. |
Step 4 |
Place assorted dried flowers over a portion of the paper heart layer, add enough resin to cover the surface of the previous layer and heat for the duration of the time cycle on the lamp. |
Step 5 |
If needed, add a final layer of resin, then heat. If needed, heat for another time cycle or two until your resin is completely cured. |
Step 6 |
