Save yourself the trouble, don’t buy this
Looks nice but when you go to use it, it’s terrible. Knots up, tangles, breaks apart constantly. Wouldn’t recommend

Perfect for my project!
Wonderful DMC product and multiple uses. I used it for hangers for needlework ornaments, but I'm sure it can be used in many more ways. Light weight and easy to use. Doesn't fray much at all!

Beautiful silvery touch
Not only do I use this shimmery thread on Christmas projects, it is perfect for hanging ornaments on the Christmas tree. The thread is very strong and holds ornaments very securely.

It’s DMC, so I expected this to be nice thread and it doesn’t disappoint!
The metallic is even and reasonably smooth for this type of thread (metallic thread is too often uneven & scratchy, this is pretty good by comparison to generic options).
I haven’t worked with it, as I bought for someone who does kimihimo braiding and not my own use; however as someone with extensive needlework experience I can say this looks like a good quality option.

Very Pretty
It pairs well with yarn for a bit of added sparkle. Only reason it isn't a 5-star is because the spool doesn't hold very much product, so I'd have to buy dozens just for one project.

Beautiful and great quality
I was hesitant to pick up a metallic thread, as I’ve purchased others in the past that have been difficult to work with, but I’m glad I did! Great quality and smooth stitching. I was able to add shiny embellishments to a piece without the unraveling and plastic-y look of other metallic threads.

Beautiful but a bit difficult
The thread itself is beautiful and I get compliments when I use it in any embroidery, my only complaint is that it is very very stiff and somewhat difficult to sew into most fabrics and I have to use my biggest needle because the thread will not fit into any other needle's hole.

Excellent alternative to DMC etoile threads
This thread works beautifully for my cross-stitch projects. I was originally using DMC's etoile line of embroidery floss, but those can be really difficult to work with and are prone to snapping or getting snagged. This thread has the same sparkly effect but isn't as difficult to work with at all. I'll be sticking with their diamant range from now on when I need to add a bit of sparkle to my projects.
