You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.

This project is intended for kids ages 5+. Kids will love making this cute menorah. Just set it up and you can add a "flame" or "candle" each night.

Print Project

Step 1

Paint nine clothespins to represent candles in blues and white. Make different shades of blue by adding white to blue paint. Let dry.

Step 2

Now paint additional details, such as stripes and dots, with contrasting blues and white. Let dry.

Step 3

ADULT: Cut a piece of corrugated cardboard about 13" x 2½" [33 cm x 6.4 cm].

Step 4

Measure 2" [5 cm] from each end and bend it back so that the strip can stand on it's own.

Step 5

Paint the cardboard with the glitter paint and let dry. Add additional coats if needed. Let dry.

Step 6

Set up the base, then clip the candles onto the strip.

Step 7

Cut out flames from yellow construction paper and glue them to the top of the clothespins.
