Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I used this brand to paint a Mason jar. It says wait 2 hours before applying secind coat. So, I did that. The first coat started coming off as I painted. So, I tried it again waiting at least 8 hours, same result. So, tried it again waiting 24 hours, same result. So, disappointed. Going to try one more time waiting 24 hours, then blow dry it before painting. I have used Folk art and Waverly Inspirations and had no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect color!! Chalk paint is chalk paint but this is the only company that has my favorite color of creamy pale pale yellow. I painted an unfinished coffee table and it's such a beautiful color and goes with anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great paint with one caveat I used a dark blue shade to paint a coffee table and it was a breeze to apply. Great coverage with two coats. I have used several brands of chalk paint and this is by far the quickest and smoothest product to apply. However, the product smells horrible!! When I painted the first coat, I started to feel nauseated about 30 mins into using the product. I didn't think anything of it, until I did the second coat and had the same experience. I do a fair share of painting and never have this issue. For that reason, I'm giving it only 3 stars. Based on only coverage, it would definitely be 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coverage I usually use (insert name of popular brand name chalk paint here {for whoever reads this at Michael's...it's Folk Art brand}) for my chalk paints but decided to try this one because it has the most beautiful mint shade. Turns out I made a good decision! The color is as beautiful on my project as it is in the bottle (a rarity), and the coverage is superior. Two coats over a pure white item and there were no brush marks, light areas, or lines. I definitely would recommend Art Minds Chalk Paint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results with this paint! I've used the antique Aqua, sea glass, white and porcelian. All cover well and they sand down to a great silky finish. I use wax to seal and have had great results and it distresses nicely. The antique Aqua is the best Aqua color I've found.

It is MUCH thicker than other chalk paints, and yet it took me 4 coats to cover a chair, and it was still flashing! Then I went to apply the wax and the paint started to flake off.
