Where's the Rest of It?
Slightly woozy from a bit too much wine and an unexpectedly balmy day, I decided to spend some time diving into what I hoped to be my newest hobby: embroidery. Inspired by online flexes and sundry craft-related, pandemic-induced trends, I had bought this kit about a week before finally opening it that fateful day. And all the kit contains is the needle, fabric, and grey thread. Your options are to either embroider the "sweet" or else make the lemon dark grey (or something). I had expected there to be yellow thread included in the kit, but there wasn't, so you end up with a lame half-stitched half-printed-on disaster. The instructions were also pretty dumb and useless—"Stitch the word in Back Stitch," like thanks—and I had to turn to YouTube for assistance because that's the degree of sewing newb I am. I expected the kit to welcome people into the magical world of embroidery, with detailed instructions and ample thread to complete the project. Alas. I ought to have bought my own fabric, needle, and thread and relied on YouTube to teach me instead of this pathetic excuse of an embroidery kit. Plus, lemons aren't even sweet; I have plans to buy more thread and sew a line through "sweet", then sew "sour" below it.

All you do on this is sew the word "SWEET" over preprinted lines. I assumed you embroidered the lemon, too - you do not. That's just printed on the fabric. (I asked a few friends if they thought that's what it would be as well, make sure I wasn't being dumb, and they agreed... so it isn't just me!)
So, this takes like 10 mins max when all is said and done, and it's way overpriced for what it is. The materials are good, but like... there's almost nothing to do.
