dimensional flower mother's day card
| Step 1 |
First, click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™. |
| Step 2 |
Size the design for your card. |
| Step 3 |
Click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner of your screen. |
| Step 4 |
Now, click ‘Continue’ in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose the correct material. |
| Step 5 |
Place the cardstock onto your cutting mat. Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, then press the blinking Cricut® icon to start cutting. |
| Step 6 |
Once your machine is done cutting each layer, carefully peel the cut design from the mat. You can use your weeder tool to help with the detail areas. |
| Step 7 |
Assemble and adhere the layers, using the image as your guide. |
| Step 8 |
To make the card, cut off half of the cover of the card. Now, cut the pink cardstock to fit the top half of the card front, leaving a small border all the way around. Adhere to the front, top of the card. |
| Step 9 |
Next, cut a piece of the teal cardstock to fit the inside of the card, leaving the same amount of border all the way around. Adhere to the inside of the card. |
| Step 10 |
Cut a strip of the teal cardstock approximately ¼" [.63 cm] and adhere across the top, using the image as a guide. |
| Step 11 |
Stamp a border across the top, under the strip using embossing ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder, tap off, then heat with the heat tool until the ink is raised and glossy. |
| Step 12 |
Stamp a sentiment at the bottom of the card using embossing ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder, tap off, then heat with the heat tool until the ink is raised and glossy. |
| Step 13 |
Adhere the assembled flowers to the bottom of the flap on the card front. |
| Step 14 |
Add bling stickers to embellish the card and flowers. |
