Large and cheap
These would be great for very young children to make gifts that parents can use a few times and pitch. The key chain is too large to use as an every day item and it's cheaply made and won't stand up to regular wear and tear. If your plans are to have a useable keychain, I might pass on thus one. If you are a parent looking for a fun, cheap, homemade gift, this will work.

Cheap, pieces don’t fit, a waste of money and just disappointed 3 little kids that wanted to make this for Christmas. Michael’s stop selling these!

Fun idea, but needs improvement
The girls in my group loved the idea of creating their personalized key chains! The concept was fun, but the plastic parts didn’t snap together tight enough, and some pieces would fall back out.

Easy and fun
Very fun to play around with and I have gotten a few compliments on the ones I've kept for myself. Snaps together and holds pretty well haven't had many problems with scratches or breaking of the thinner plastic pieces. Only complaint it is it's difficult to cut out shapes from your own paper. Seems the star and heart are only slightly not symmetrical, not visibly, but enough to make adding your own paper frustrating.
Overall nice product will definitely buy again.
