Ceramic Magnets
I used these magnets on the back of Plastic Canvas designs used to decorate cabin doors on a recent cruise. They stayed in place on tge doors no matter how many times the door was opened. I just glued them in place with a little hot glue. They are strong enough to hold heavy pieces in place.

These little magnets are pretty powerful. Its just a matter of getting them to stick to what you need them to stick to. Their smooth sirface makes it hard for glue and other adhesive. Steong magnetism though.
