Thought x-acto brand would be good - but the tightening mechanism did not securely grab the blade AT ALL. Hubby took it out to the garage and bent something to help secure it

Not good when the blade comes loose
At first use it was awesome but after the first few cuts the blade kept coming loose. I never had issues with my other xacto knifes.

Great for other purposes
I use this knife for fine detailing in soap stone carving. Works great although very difficult to find this model knife stocked in stores and when I do it's often not located with the other models. There are no refills available. So I resharpen blades until I buy another knife.
