This is simple and beautiful!
Some of the reviews unjustly state that this doesn’t work. It works incredibly well with purchased table card numbers and is an elegant option. It may not work well with print at home table numbers but it works well with the ones I purchased off amazon (were not David Tutera).

Modern holders
Hard to find modern holders but these were perfect. Yes it requires thicker paper so the table numbers would hold tightly enough and stand straight. We glued two card stocks together so it was snug enough to position it nice and straight. We are very happy with it!

David Tutera Place Card Holders
Poorly made. Looked great in the packaging, but when I tried with with our place cards and table tables, both lean forward instead of sitting straight up or leaning slightly to the back. The slits on the sides go straight down and probably need to be angled so the place card or table number doesn't lean forward. We tried various different sizes and paper types such as cardstock, doublethick paper, and signature paper; everything still leands forward. Going to be returning these.
