5 Little Monkeys Jumping from the Bed
I glued wide craft sticks (popcycle sticks) to the back of each monkey. Each of my preschoolers were able to have their own monkey to " jump on the bed" as we sang the song. The cutest part was when the students would wag the finger at their monkey and say "no more monkeys jumping on the bed!" (Even my non-verbal students were wagging their finger)
My students are affected severely by autism and every chance that I get, they get to physically participate in each activity. These wooden and pre-painted monkeys were perfect for my classroom.
