First, cut two 60" [154.4 cm] pieces of cording and a 10" [25.4 cm] piece of wire.

Add a crimp bead to one end of the wire. Use the jaws of your pliers to squeeze the crimp bead around the wire.

String your stones/beads onto the wire. Attach a Bead Bug™ to the end of the wire to keep them on the wire.

Now, lay your two pieces of cording, parallel, on your working surface. Tape the cording to your working space about 5" [2.5 cm] from the end. These are your working cords.

Place the wire with stones/beads in between the cords with the crimp bead end just under the tape. Arrange the stones/beads so they are at the bottom of the wire, near the Bead Bug™.
TIP: This is the base for knotting. It will run down the middle of your bracelet.

Start your first twisted (half) square knot just below the crimp bead. To do this, fold the right cord across the front of the base cord below the crimp bead, horizontally, making the shape of a backward number “4”. Next, take the left cord and place it over the right cord, bend it back under the right cord and across back of the base cord then up through the opening of the backward “4”. Grab the ends of both cords and pull tight against the metal bead.

For the next six knots, repeat Step 6.
TIP: Work each knot the same (from right to left) for this portion of your bracelet to create the twist.

Slide the top stone/bead on your wire up to the bottom of the last knot. Repeat Step 6 around the bead for the first half of the knot. For the second half, you repeat in reverse: Fold the left cord across the front of the base cord, horizontally, making the shape of a number “4”. Next, take the right cord and place it over the left cord, bend it back under the left cord and across back of the base cord then up through the opening of the “4”. Grab the ends of both cords and pull tight against the stone/bead.

Repeat Step 8 for all the stones/beads on your wire or until you reach about 6" [15.2 cm] from your first half square knot just below the tape.

Just below your last stone/bead, repeat Steps 6-7.

Add a crimp bead to the wire, as you did in Step 2, then trim the wire. Remove the tape and set this bracelet aside.

Repeat Steps 1-11 for a second bracelet.

Align the two bracelets and tie an overhand knot around both bracelets at the top of the twisted portion on both ends to attach them, making one double-strand bracelet. Make sure to hide the crimped bead and wire ends inside the overhand knot.

To tie the sliding knot, arranged the double-strand bracelet in a circle so the cord ends overlap.

Cut an 18" [18.7 cm] piece of cording.

Slide the cording piece under the overlapped cords on your bracelet. Arrange the cord so the overlapped cords are in the middle. Bring the two ends of the cord above the overlapped cord and create a couple of square knots around the overlapped cords.

Trim the excess cords and add a dab of glue. Let dry.
