Beg. or Pro: Fun, Lightfast, Nicely Pigmented
I love, love, love these inks. I am a professional artist, and I use them often in my artwork. They can be as transparent or opaque as I like... I love that I can move them around like a watercolor when wet, but they dry permanent like an acrylic. High quality, easy to mix, beautiful color that can be subtle or vibrant, easy to layer without hiding or pulling up the layers beneath (unless you want to hide them). Some ask if I'm using oils in the paintings, because the layering can build up a look that appears similar to blending oils. These arey go-to pigments, used in almost all of my paintings. Also, they do not dry with a plasticky sheen like most acrylic products... they dry more matte than glossy, although a very thick application will dry with a bit of a sheen. Easy for a beginning artist to pick up, dependable and fun for a pro to experiment. I use them on watercolor paper, gessoed substrates, and wood panels.

Excellent filter through an airbrush
I've been utilizing inks more for miniature painting. The transparent inks allow for very smooth blending and softening of color transitions. It almost feels like a cheatcode.

Ink blots
I purchased this acrylic ink to use with my calligraphy writing. This color can be mixed with other colors to create a variety of shades that I like. It is very versatile and can be diluted to thin or right out the bottle and the color is a true color that won't change unless you mix it. I also have used this ink with my acrylic collage paintings. I encourage you to try a bottle or two . You'll be very satisfied.

Great ink, wish the lid dropper were better
Great consistency, a little goes a long way. Be sure to shake thoroughly before you use! I was a little bummed to see that the included dropper in the lid clogged up after a couple uses, so make sure you have a paintbrush or other pipette on hand.

Great inks, but the packaging is always covered in something black. It rubs off on your hands and is gross. I’m not sure why a bunch of these bottles are always in this condition.
