crow hoop wreath

Crows joined together reflect the weather is changing and soon it’ll be cold. This late season wreath has a Halloween vibe but also can represent a modern Fall wreath.

Step 1

Paint both wood wreath with liquid gilding. Let completely dry.
TIP: Multiple coats maybe needed for heavy coverage.

Step 2

Lay the smaller wreath inside the larger one. Arrange the smaller one so it touches an inner part of the larger wreath. Use Gold wire to hold them together and use the same wire to create a loop for a hanger.
TIP: Use the photo as a guide.

Step 3

Glue crows in clusters to the wreath to appears as though they are standing on electric wires.

Step 4

Cut apart some Spanish moss picks and glue the draping moss around the birds.
