Great, but at still pretty sticky!
Works great when you don’t need a lot of grip for heavier materials, but I do find that my cardstock will stick and tear when I’m trying to remove it if I’m not careful. Sometimes I add a little towel lint to bring down the stickiness level!

Great mat
This mat is mainly the only one I ever really use. It’s perfect for everything from cardstock to vinyl. Whatever you have on it stays put and then comes off with ease without ruining anything you’ve just cut. Sometimes people say to use the standard grip mat for certain things but I feel it rips things more that I would like. It lasts a long Good while and easy to clean when it loses some of its stickiness. Becomes brand new after a good washing with soap. I won’t ever get another brand.

Wish I purchased sooner
I've been a cricut owner for some time and always chose to buy the standard mat. I wish i orchard this may sooner. It would have saved me lots of time pulling off paper and running my standard mats trying to get paper off. Perfect for vinyl and light/thin paper

This mat works great for paper. They seem to lose their tack though and not even cleaning the mat seems to return that stickiness. It otherwise works great in my Cricut though.

I really prefer using the Light Grip mat for most of my paper projects. It doesn't have such a strong grip as the standard mat--which seems to tear the paper more when removing (this is usually when the standard grip mat is new).
