Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst Cricut product I've ever tried Bought the 'convenient' smart vinyl to personalize cups for my granddaughter's cheerleading team. The project should have taken no longer than three hours but because of this terrible vinyl it actually took eight hours.The vinyl weeds just fine but getting it off the transfer tape, yeah, good luck. Unless or until they fix the product, and they absolutely should fix it if they're going to keep selling it, but until then I'll stick to non-smart vinyl products.

Then I forgot how bad it was and used it again. Again! Ugh, it's just too sticky, I guess. Don't waste your time or frustration on it. Sorry, Cricut.

The permanent Smart Vinyl in Matte won't weed properly, unless you're doing something huge without any intracacies. The Smart Vinyl in shimmer is even worse. What a waste of money and more important, time spent trying to get this to work. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and read reviews that said it wasn't very good. I shouldn't have listened. From now on, permanent will be Oracal 651 and NOT this sub-standard waste of money/time. Oh yah, I bought every single colour and they ALL failed, so please don't tell me it's an issue with a "batch". Oh yah, when opened, Michaels does not take it back, even though it's defective. That's so nice, all colours in permanent bought that they have in stock in Pitt Meadows and Port Coquitlam and ALL are no good. Please don't waste your money.
