This project is intended for kids age 4+. Kids will have a blast making this crazy-haired ghost of a pumpkin. They can personalise their pumpkin by creating their own features for his nose, mouth and ears.

Print Project

Step 1
Paint the pumpkin white and let dry. It will take several coats to get good coverage. Let the paint dry between each coat.
Step 2
Cut a piece of fur for the hair.
Step 3
Cut three chenille pipe cleaners the same length as the hair.
Step 4
ADULT: Hot glue the chenille pipe cleaners to the back of the hair, one on each end and one in the middle, to help the hair stand up straight. Next, hot glue the hair to front of the pumpkin, near the top.
Step 5
ADULT: Hot glue two eyes to the ghost pumpkin's face.
Step 6
On the back side of the black adhesive felt, use your pencil to draw eyebrows and a mouth. On the back side of the white adhesive felt, draw a nose and ears. Cut out shapes.
Step 7
Peel the adhesive off the eyebrows, nose and mouth and stick in place.
Step 8

For the ears, peel only about ½" of the paper backing off and stick them to the ghost pumpkin.
