Print Project

Step 1

Paint five jumbo wood craft sticks with the green paint. Let dry. Apply another coat of paint and let dry.

Step 2

Cut a piece of a jumbo wood craft stick to desired length for the snake’s head. Paint green and let dry.  Apply another coat and let dry.

Step 3

Paint five wood craft sticks with brown paint. Let dry. Apply another coat of paint and let dry.

Step 4

Glue one brown wooden craft stick to each side of one green jumbo wooden craft stick. Repeat with the remaining wooden craft sticks. Let dry.
TIP: Use the image as a guide.

Step 5

Wrap one black Rainbow Loom® band a couple times around the flat end of the snake’s head. Attach one Rainbow Loom® connector to the back side of the black band.

Step 6

Wrap one black Rainbow Loom® band a couple times around each end of the snake’s body. Attach one Rainbow Loom® connector to the back side of the black band and another connector to the other side of the black band. Repeat with the other four glued wooden craft sticks.

Step 7

Select six Rainbow Loom® bands to decorate the snake’s body. Wrap each Rainbow Loom® band a couple times around the snake’s body. Repeat with each body piece.

Step 8

Cut a small snake tongue as shown in the picture out of the construction paper. Glue to the rounded side of the snake head. Let dry.

Step 9

Connect one body piece to the snake head with the Rainbow Loom® connector that is already attached to the body piece.

Step 10

Connect the remaining body pieces using the Rainbow Loom® connectors to make the snake length so your snake can "slither" around your table.
