Defective skein
The skein got stuck and I could not make progress either way. Very disappointing when trying to crochet.

Wonderful color
You really can not tell how bright and beautiful the neon glow of this yarn is in the pictures... I was PLEASANTLY surprised by that... however the reason I took one star off was that this is advertised as a 7oz skein and it is very clearly labeled 5oz

Felt cheated
Included in my last order of 24 skeins of yarn was included Vale Neon yellow & violet. Both were described as 354 yards. They were actually 231 yards. I feel like I am owed 123 yards each skein times 6 skeins =738 yards. This is not what I ordered or paid for. Buyer beware!!!

Perfect for beginners
I don't know much about yarn, but as a crochet beginner, I was very happy with this product. I got it in the colour sage green, it's really pretty and I am planning to buy more in the future!

Love this yarn
I love this yarn . It does not split for me like red heart does. It has knots in it once in awhile but much better than splitting. For me it works. I make hats for kids and donate them at Christmas

Soft, easy to knit, durable
Usually inexpensive brands of acrylic yarn are less desirable for crafting.
This yarn seems to have all the best qualities. Used it for charity knitting and very pleased with the results. Knits and crochets nicely. Washes well. Hold it's shape and color. Will definitely use more.

Inconsistent texture
I bought four skeins of this yarn online during the summer. I used some in a temperature blanket and had enough of a skein left to knit a mitten this week. When I knitted the second mitten using a different skein, the texture was TOTALLY different. I checked the lot and colour numbers and they are all the same in all four skeins. The yarn in the first mitten was smaller and softer and the yarn in the second mitten was bigger and coarser. So I tried a third skein and it was not as soft as the first skein but not as coarse as the second. So I knitted the second mitten with the third skein to see if I could get away with it ... but there was an obvious difference. So I knitted the second mitten using the same skein as the first mitten so they are consistent. Though the colour is awesome and pops, why are the textures so different?!
