Step 1

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Length = 66" (168cm) and Width = 6¾" (17cm)

GAUGE: 13 dc x 8 rows = 4" (10cm) in pattern; save time and check your gauge

SPECIAL STITCHES: Fpdc (Front Post Double Crochet): Yo, insert hook from front to back to front around the post of the st and draw yarn through, [yo and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Ch 22.
Row 1 (WS): Dc in 3rd ch from hook (sk’d 2 ch do not count as a st), and each ch across, turn – 21 dc.
Row 2 (RS): Ch 2 (does not count as a st here and throughout), dc in 1st dc, *fpdc around next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc; rep from * to last 2 dc, fpdc around next dc, dc in last dc, turn.
Row 3 (WS): Ch 2, dc in next 2 dc, *fpdc around each of next 2 dc, dc in next dc; rep from * to last dc, dc in last dc, turn.
Rep Rows 2-3 until scarf measures 66" (168cm), ending with Row 2.
Fasten off.

Finishing: Weave in ends.
