Made crafting easier
The knife is really sharp so I would definitely be careful with it but it is really handy. Crafting became a lot easier with it.

Good for cutting foam board
Pressing down on the blade feels a bit scary, like it might break, but I was able to cut foam board, although I had to cut both sides separately.

It's sharp!
With my trusty aluminum ruler, I was able to cut a straight line with this x-acto knife. It may not be ergonomic but it does the job.

Feels super cheaply made
It’s not grip it’s just plastic body and comes loose constantly, avoid this I’m shocked they normally are higher quality

Flimsy Blade
This X-Acto Gripster Knife is very cheap. Thin, flimsy blade bent with only regular pressure on paper. Just terrible.

Cuts clean lines
Cuts clean lines with no real pressure. It glides across many mediums without snagging and has a comfortable grip.

Comfortable precison
I have done relief carvings for 25 years. I have never found a knife that can give me precise details cuts better than X-acto. I choose the more expensive Gripster because it is way more comfortable than the metal knives.
