GORGEOUS Color and FANTASTIC Paper
I am a dot grid notebook snob, so I do not leave this review lightly. These Artist Loft dot grid journals are EXACTLY what I want from a great journal. The paper is a crisp white and smooth to the touch. I have not had any bleeding through with my felt tip pens. I am able to glue items to the paper easily and there is a table of contents area at the front of these specific journals. Not every journal has that. This is a great journal for the money!

Great little journal for the price
Not understanding the negative reviews, as the description doesn’t really mislead. If you are looking to bullet journal your life with a ballpoint pen or pencil (I use a fountain pen, with some bleedthrough that I don’t mind), this is an excellent and affordable journal.
If you are looking to watercolor Pinterest-worthy monstera leaves to keep track of your Fall bucket list while also hand lettering Bob Marley lyrics and plan to take pictures of it in hopes to impress your friends on Instagram...maybe invest in something a bit more high quality.

This journal is a great price compared to many of the competitors. The amount of pages is AWESOME. The pages however are a little thin, and I can see ghosting on the other side when I use markers or felt pens.

Artist's Loft Dot Grid Journal
The quality of this journal exceeds my expectations. I use this as an art journal, kind of like a fauxbonichi, in which I write about daily events, drawing, and watercolor painting. The pages are white, which make my watercolor pop. Some people like creamy pages but it does not matter to me. No bleeding through or ghosting or feathering with fountain pens (I use Pilot Metropolitan Medium nibs, Noodler's ink - bulletproof black and saguaro wine). Watercolor also doesn't ghost/bleed. It makes the pages warp a bit but it is understandable since these papers are not intended to be used as watercolor papers. I love my journal very much I came back and bought >10 more in different grid types and colors. Will recommend this journal to everyone. Thanks Michael's for making such a fantastic product.

They have a great selection of colors and paper type ie. lines, dots, blank and they are really inexpensive.
