I had ran out of black thread so when I saw that Michaels carried the coats come thread I was glad that I didn't have to make an extra stop to purchase it. I buy the cone thread in colors that I use a lot of for regular sewing projects to make it fit my regular sewing machine I stick an empty spool inside the cone so it will fit and not wobble while I am sewing.
