Step 1 |
Slice a piece of Lemon, Pacific Blue, Raspberry and Tangerine clay from each block. |
Step 2 |
Knead and condition until moldable. |
Step 3 |
Add a little Tangerine clay to your conditioned Lemon clay to make a Golden-Mustard hue. |
Step 4 |
Roll out each colour into a snake shape. Form layered arches, as shown, to make a rainbow. Use a super slicer to cut the ends evenly. |
Step 5 |
Use the piercing tool to create a hole at the top of your rainbow between the top two colours. |
Step 6 |
If desired, shape a sun shape and attach to the side of your rainbow. Set aside. |
Step 7 |
Slice and condition more from the raspberry clay. Roll into a ball, then gently push it down to form a rondelle bead. |
Step 8 |
Use the piercing tool to create a hole through the centre of the bead. |
Step 9 |
Bake for 30 minutes at 230°F (110°C). Remove from oven and set aside to cool. |
Step 10 |
Thread an eye pin through the bead hole and make a loop at the end of the eye pin. |
Step 11 |
Thread a jump ring through the hole at the top of your rainbow and one of the loops of the eye pin through the clay bead. Close the jump ring. |
Step 12 |
Repeat Step 11 to connect the other loop on the top of the clay bead with a key ring. |
Step 13 |
Use a jump ring to attach a tassel to the keyring. |
