Looking for a simple festive dessert to decorate the table? These crushed candy cane topped with Candy Cane Christmas Cupcakes are a great solution, paired with coordinating cupcake toppers and liners!

Print Project

Step 1

Mix batter according to box directions/recipe. Place the cupcake liners into your muffin pan and fill each liner ¾ full (or divide boxed cake batter equally between 24) with the batter. Bake according to recipe directions. Cool completely.

Step 2

Fill piping bag with 4B open star tip and white decorator icing. Hold the bag straight up, with the tip a little above the cupcake. Squeeze as you move tip clockwise outside, moving inside. Lift tip up and away once in the centre.

Step 3

Sprinkle the crushed candy cane to the top of each cupcake.

Step 4

Top each cupcake with a cupcake Christmas pick.
NOTE: One box of cake mix makes 24 regular size cupcakes.
