Not great.
The cut out of the mat wasn't exactly the right size and was very difficult to get the photo in correctly. Also, the frame wasn't as dark as it is in the picture. Was almost too light a champagne color. Kept it, but not happy with it.

How?
How do you suppose a 3.5x5 picture fit when the hole cutout is literally 3.5x5 (it’s usually slightly smaller so the edges have something to hold onto) this didn’t even allow for a 1/2mm around the edge. This is the exact size, so the photo just falls right through. The backing isn’t even tight enough to hold it in place.

This frame was a perfect setting for my photo! I love that it has a mat because it draws even more attention to an already beautiful photo. If I ever want to change the photo, the mat may be removed for more options. And...the price was right!

Perfect Serendipity Discovery
It was serendipity that I found this frame. This was used for an older photo of my daughter with her grandmother, sitting at the piano when she was about 3 years old--she is now 33. It will be a special gift this holiday season as well as a new home gift for my sweet daughter.

3.5x5 Frame works great for photo
This frame is better than most- The retention clips are even and fit well into grooves, the corners are even- the cuts are smooth, the frame color blended well with my living room colors, the double mat gave depth and had nice angled/ beveled cuts to make it look more rich. Bonus- I got it on sale!
