Chalk pens do not erase
I bought 2 of these for events and they are the perfect table top size but I used Mondo LLama chalk pens on them and they do not erase! Tried cloth, damp paper towel, socks, towel, etc. to get it off and the writing is still clear as day. I've used the same chalk pens on other chalk board and white boards and they erase fine so it must be the finish on these particular boards.

Does not work for chalk markers
I used a chalk marker on this board and now the markings won't come off. I've tried water, alcohol, soap, and elbow grease but there are still markers. I've always been able to use chalk markers on the same surfaces as regular chalk, so I'm frustrated to see this result. Now I'll either need to spend more time and money to paint over this with chalk paint or buy a replacement item.

Unexpected Value!
I used this as an alternative sign for a baby shower. What we had in mind previously wasn’t quite fitting with the designated space. This little easel saved the day! Affordable priced and reusable, quality product and a value! We used regular chalk on the signage, worked out perfectly. Smooth surface allowed me to draw a foliage detail with ease. Highly recommend!
