First, create 12 bead links with lentil mix beads and one with a ceramic flower bead. To do this:

• Slide a bead onto an eye pin.
• Bend the wire of the eye pin in a 90° angle just above the bead.
• Grasp the eye pin wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm-1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers.
• Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire.

Make two bead strands by linking the bead links together.
TIP: Carefully open a loop from one bead link, slide the loop of another onto the open loop, then close the loop.

Open the loop on one end of each strand, slide onto the loop on the top of your flower bead link and close the loop.

Open the loop at the bottom of the flower bead link, add a large jump ring and close the loop.

Open the loop at the top of each linked bead strand, add a large jump ring and close the loop.

Cut two 30" [76.2 cm] pieces of leather. Fold each in half and attach to the jump rings attached in Step 5 with a lark’s head knot.
TIP: To make a lark’s head knot, fold the leather cord in half. Place the jump ring over the fold. Grab the ends of the cord, bring them up and over the jump ring, then through the fold of the cord. Pull and tighten the knot.

Tie an overhand knot at the top of the leather. Trim ends so they are even.

For the tassel at the bottom, cut 8" [20.3 cm] two pieces of leather. Attach to the jump ring at the bottom of the flower bead with a lark’s head knot.
