Great for Spice Organization; 2.5 fl.oz. Capacity
I was looking for small hinge-top containers for my spices, which I buy in bulk from a local organic store. I just moved and I had to completely re-stock my pantry. It was SOOO much cheaper to buy spices in bulk, even including the price of these jars (especially if you get them on sale). Also note - there are nearly identical jars sold on here individually. I compared them open stock in store to these jars in their packaging, and couldn't tell the difference.
We have a tone of Fido jars for our cabinets, and these match the look. However, the hinges on these are most certainly built for decoration rather than constant use, so I'm not confident that these are a solution for years and years. But for now, they're perfect.
For those of you wondering how much they hold: it looks like they hold about 2.5 fluid ounces or 75 ml just below the brim. This is obviously not to be confused with weight ounces. I did a test with 2 fluid ounces (1/4 cup) of water just to check the capacity, and they were filled up about 80% of the way, so I'd say that would be a good fill line for those using these for something liquid.
For size comparison, the full-size square glass spice bottles you buy in the store typically have a 4 fluid ounce capacity (the net weight of the product in these jars usually varies between 0.75 oz and 3.5 oz).

A tiny bit smaller than I'd hoped but very cute
I bought these for bridesmaids gifts or maybe even wedding favors. I wanted to put a little "hangover fix" in them but I couldn't fit everything I bought in the jar. It's still very cute and fit these things: 4 pc tic tac packs, advil pack with 2 pills, small eye drops, 2 pack pepto. I had purchased a pack of mini Kind bars and was hoping they'd fit in too, but that was too much to ask! Still very cute and with the great coupons from Michaels, I think affordable too.
