This French-made heavy-weight paper is perfect for final drawings. Each dual-textured sheet offers excellent erasability. One side has a fine texture and the other is medium textured - both are ideal for dry media, wet mix media techniques, markers, pens and collage. This pad also features a removable half sheet that contains tips and techniques - reinsert as needed or used as a placeholder!

Love This Sketchbook
I am an artist and use gouache on paper with a lot of water. I find the Canson Mix Media paper holds up really well. I first recommended it to my students to use as a sketchbook in my painting with gouache class because it was easily found at Michaels for the last minute shoppers. I purchased one also to try it and I now use it as well. I am using it in my current postcard project and it holds up well in the mail. The sheets tear out easily and I cut them into postcard size. I highly recommend!

Nice sketch book
I bought this for ink and wash, as it is a heavier weight than the Canson XL mix media pad. It worked fine, with only a little buckling. I will be trying it also for markers and colored pencils. It is also a nice size for taking with you, or for sitting on the couch and sketching.
