Step 1 |
Wash shirt and leave damp. Lay out flat on covered work surface and smooth out wrinkles. |
Step 2 |
Pleat shirt vertically and secure with rubber bands to hold the pleats together. |
Step 3 |
Mix Red dye as directed in package instructions. |
Step 4 |
Apply dye to shoulders of shirt and partway down along tops of pleats. |
Step 5 |
Apply dye to hem of shirt and partway up tops of pleats. |
Step 6 |
Cover shirt with plastic and let set 6-8 hours. |
Step 7 |
Remove bands and rinse shirt under running water to remove excess dye. |
Step 8 |
Wash and dry shirt as fabric requires. |
